We may have a 6'er to post. 10 inch beard buf spurs weren't much.

Got to wait til I get home for the pics, just on my phone.now.

Got him with the xbow and Gizzard Getter call.

Go get em Gary!
Been slow down here on public land. Had one hang up four times. Kept moving in closer each day but he would hang up 80 yards out. Nice bird but definitely call shy. Anyway, got a better hunt coming up. Hope to get a nice one!

Posted up the 6 pointer on the entry thread. Hopefully I got it right.

We on the board anyways. :D

Heading out again tomorrow eve or Monday to northeast Colo. Sounds like we got some weather coming in though. Snow/rain Mon thru Wed and temps don't get above 40 until Fri.

I'll get my bird up from last week. Thinking it'll be a 6-7 point bird. 9.75 beard (Beard rot), and 1 3/16 spurs.

Ok guys, the hunt on public land and my hunt in Texas didn't turn out.... both huge bummers. Unfortunately, all but 2 of my hunts this season 12 so far have been on public land with people walking about or setting up 50 yards from me. Hugely disappointed.

But that can change!

My dad and I are en route to Nebraska to go get our first Merriam!

I'm crossing my fingers that we can come through for the team.
