How many Colorado Turkey Hunters are here?

Hello fellow Colorado turkey hunters!
Where are you hunting?
Do you hunt your favorite flock or do you prefer finding new flocks for new challenges?

I usually hunt Mariam's in the mountains here but this year I will hunt the prairie for Rios, I always like to hunt new flocks every year but if I have no luck I'll go back to my honey hole and get a nice gobbler. For as many flocks as I find here I'm surprised H.S. and mad calls ect. don't do more hunting videos here.

Thats great!
Now what area is that limited tag for and what are the GPS coordinates for the roost?
I don't want every thing, just a tiny tiny bit of info

Good Luck!
I never hunt limited areas but I have a point lol for applying once. I may hunt a limited area at some point but I have always focused on Mariam's until now, My daughter and I will be hunting together for at least one trip for a Rio this spring.

Oh I always share my locations of turkey roosts. :D

Here is the lat lon coordinates for the roost. You will find more "turkeys" there then you will know what to do with. ;)

N 39 44.263 W 104 59.090

Actually you should put in for preference points. If you draw a limited tag you can still buy a general tag and get 2 birds in the spring. Since you already buy a license and habitat stamp, it will only cost you $3 a point and there are some quality hunts to be had in the limited units.

LOL I wonder how many will check that GPS Cor. LOL
Yes I know I've just never been super interested in Rios or all the red tape as I get a Merriam every year. I guess I should just apply anyway and go for it, I'm hunting for Rios at least one weekend this spring just to try and add a Rio and for the challenge.

Ha, great cordnates, I'm standing in a Walmart parking lot trying to roost birds. Some folks did drop some change in my vest as they walk by.
